Mr. Kanodia has over twenty-nine years of experience in the design and startup of electrical substation and power systems as a consulting engineer plus several years both working in the electrical contracting field and as a plant engineer for a large manufacturer of power plant equipment.

Mr. Kanodia's responsibilities at PFK Associates Inc. are the engineering design, direction of design/drafting and startup of electrical substation systems.

Specialization - Project Management, Power & Control Systems

Mr. Deoras has over twenty (20) years of experience in project management, electrical power systems, and control systems. Experience includes design, construction coordination, and start-up of electrical power plants, as well as steel, aluminum, and chemical plants.

Mr. Szpak has over eighteen (18) years of experience in engineering/design of electrical substations, power distribution systems, control systems, and protection schemes. He has also worked on many standby generator projects.

Steven E. Buren, Senior Electrical Engineer     steveb@pfkengineering.com

Mr. Buren has had over fourteen years of experience with an A & E firm as a Senior Electrical Engineer/Project Engineer prior to joining PFK Associates, Inc.

He was responsible for engineering in power, lighting, control, instumentation, fire-alarm, security and telecommunications systems.

He also worked over ten years with the manufacturing industries as an Electrical Engineer.

Mr. Josey had over eighteen years of experience in the T&D department of a large Ohio Utility prior to joining PFK Associates, Inc.

Jon B. Moody, Senior Designer     jonm@pfkengineering.com

Mr. Moody had over ten years of experience in the Distribution and Engineering department of a large Ohio Utility prior to joining PFK Associates, Inc.

He also worked over five years with a large telecommunications company as an outside Plant Engineer.

Mr. Kanodia provides office support while attending the local university to pursue the Masters in Accounting degree.

Larry L. Teeling, P.E.

Specialization - Structural Engineer

Mr. Teeling has over thirty years of experience in the civil/structural consulting engineering field. He has completed designs ranging from small office buildings to high-rise apartment projects and from simple slab installations to complex power plant foundations.

Mr. Teeling has completed the design of many electric system substation foundations, pole foundations, and building foundations for PFK Associates Inc. and is the principal owner of a Structural Engineering Firm located in Akron, Ohio.

Architectural Design

Architectural design requirements on PFK Associates Inc.'s projects are either performed by Akron area firms that we have worked with in the past and are located close to our offices, or preferably by an Architect located near the project site that may also have in-house civil/sitework capability.

Laura Foltz, Office Manager     lauraf@pfkengineering.com

Mrs. Foltz has been with PFK Associates Inc. for twelve years and has responsibility for daily business management of our offices and the formatting of all technical specifications.

In a highly computerized office such as PFK Associates Inc., her experience and background provides a very coordinated project to our clients.

Dale Ayers, Manager, System Operation Services

Mr. Ayers worked over twenty-seven years in the maintenance and management of electric utility substation repairs and operations prior to joining PFK Associates, Inc. in 1991.

Mr. Ayers duties with PFK Associates Inc. is in the selection and startup of substation equipment.

However, as Manager of System Operations Services, he also assists our clients in personnel training, establishment of inspection routines, provides periodic review of operations and directs scheduled maintenance of substations.
